Background

This was my first M.O.C. ("My Own Creation") build, which means it was the first build that I did with Lego pieces, but without Lego directives. I created this piece from start to finish, on my own.

Subject Matter

This build features a modern home built fairly recently, in 2019.

Build Process

Although this is not a particularly ornate modern home, it was a challenge to build for the following reasons:

The roof was difficult to build and support structurally
I built this with the fact that I will eventually be able to take it apart to view the inside detail. Because of this, I had to pre-plan how these elements would.
